“Symbol of Peace and Kindness” at Pulkovo Airport
On June 9, the ceremony of opening the sculpture “Symbol of Peace and Kindness, Dandelion” was held at the St. Petersburg airport, the press office of the city administration reported.
The cap of “Dandelion” consists of human palms and open eyes. Together they form the shape of a ball, symbolizing the planet Earth. Widely opened eyes inside the palm speak of sincerity and purity of intentions, ” noted in Smolny administration.
The sculpture was created with the participation of the International Academy of Kindness, similar monuments are installed in 30 countries of the world. In the near future, sculptures will be installed in 100 more airports around the world.
