On August 16, 2018, the Dandelion of Kindness was installed in Pereira, Colombia. The Mayor of the city and the Minister of Culture attended the opening of the Symbol of Peace and Kindness. The Dandelion was set at the entrance to the city so that everyone who comes to the city can come with kindness in their hearts  and  take a piece of kindness when leaving the city.

This day became a real holiday for local residents:  a Russian sculptor came from distant Russia to the Colombian land with a mission of kindness and peace.

After the opening ceremony, Gregory gave the Columbian kids who participated in the event dressed in bright national costumes, badges of the International Academy of Kindness with the slogans of the project: “Kindness is the solution to all problems,” “A man is a part of humankind when he is kind. ”
